Catholic Schools Week became an annual event in 1974 with a different theme every year. It is a joint project of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). The purpose of Catholic Schools Week is to build community awareness of, and involvement in, Catholic Schools throughout the country. Catholic Schools Week begins the last Sunday of January and continues throughout that week. Saint Therese School joins in the activities by planning varied activities throughout the week.
